Orders for collection on a Saturday can be placed up until 9pm on Friday.

We can accommodate collection at other times of the week – subject to availability and prior arrangement. But, as we’re sure you will understand, we are a working farm and running it takes priority.

  • We deliver locally on a Friday morning and courier deliveries arrive on Thursdays.

If you, or somebody else isn’t at the delivery address supplied then the courier/we will find a suitable place to leave your goods. It is your responsibility to provide a ‘safe location’ to leave your package if you aren’t able to be there to take delivery. Ideally the items will need to go straight into the freezer or a fridge so we’d strongly suggest that there is someone there to receive the parcel.

Please note; this does not apply for Christmas orders – these will need to be collected on the 23rd/24th of December between 10am – 3pm. Item description

  • We’ve capped it at a 5 mile radius from the farm, please select ‘courier delivery’ at checkout if you don’t live within any of the following areas:

Boreham, Broomfield, Chignal St James, Chelmer Village, Chelmsford City, Felsted, Ford End, Galleywood, Good Easter, Great Baddow, Great Leighs, Great Waltham, High Easter, Howe Street, Little Waltham, Moulsham, Melbourne, North End, Roxwell, Springfield, Writtle.

Please note; this does not apply for Christmas orders – these will need to be collected on the 23rd/24th of December between 10am – 3pm.

  • No, we don’t have the facilities for a full-time farm shop so we limit collection from 10am – 12noon every Saturday and also operate a delivery service. If you would like to come and see us, the beef, or the cattle without an order then please let us know if you are planning a visit on a Saturday morning to make sure one of us is here to meet you.

Please note; this does not apply for Christmas orders – these will need to be collected on the 23rd/24th of December between 10am – 3pm.

  • Local delivery
Orders will need to be completed by Thursday 9pm for delivery the same week.

    Courier deliveries
Are sent out Thursday mornings so will need to be completed by Wednesday 9pm for delivery within that week.

Any orders made after the above cut-offs will be fulfilled the following week.

  • Please contact us as soon as possible on hello@wildandrootedfarming.co.uk if you need to change your order.

  • Yes, all of our beef is frozen on the day we receive it back from the butcher.

  • No, there is no minimum order. However, as we often sell out, we would suggest buying in bulk if you have the freezer space.

  • It’s best for you to recycle the cardboard boxes and the plastic that the meat is wrapped in. You can return insulated bags to us when we deliver/you collect your next order.

However, for courier deliveries, we actively encourage you to send back your wool pouches and ice packs – if you have no other use for them. We can then re-use them in future orders. We ask you to send them back in one of our boxes and ensure that the box is full before sending. Make sure you pop your name inside the box and we’ll make sure we thank you in your next order with some beef ‘on us’

  • If you opt for a courier delivery your order will arrive in a cardboard box. Once inside you’ll find a wool pouch which has been used to help keep your meat frozen, along with a couple of ice packs. We’ll also include any extra instructions in a little envelope so keep an eye out for that too.
