Oxtail
A cut known well by our Grandparents’ generation and great for slow cooking due to the density of the muscle. Cut between the vertebrae for easy cooking and is sure to make a hearty stew full of flavour.
The Abattoir we use to slaughter our beef animals cannot guarantee that the Oxtail they send back came from one of our animals. We nearly took the cut out of our offering because of that fact. However, we feel it’s important that as much as possible of any animal killed for meat is then consumed rather than wasted.
Please note
All of our beef is frozen as soon as possible to preserve freshness. If you opt for a courier delivery; steaks, burgers and other smaller items may arrive partially thawed – it’s perfectly safe to put them back in the freezer for another day or, or defrost them slowly in the fridge and eat within a two days. Ensure your beef is at room temperature before cooking.
